Opening in 1990, a used car dealership was purchased by two brothers, Bob and Larry Siracusano. With no prior knowledge of the business, the two brothers jumped in feet first and began a journey which unbeknownst to them would become a great one. These two brothers would open up a small business names Sawyer Chevrolet and turn it into one of Greene County’s most well known businesses.
With over 30 employees, Sawyer Chevrolet has made itself into quite a successful business to work with and work for. Interviewing one employee the business is described as a “close knit team who has respect for anyone and everyone who walks through their doors.” Selling over 14,000 cars over the last 19 years, the estimated 200 cars in stock are often changing.
Recently doubling a Chevrolet incentive for flood victims of Tropical Storm Irene, Sawyer keeps its name well known as a local business who does everything it can to give back to it’s community. Sawyer is proud of its neighborhood and enjoys helping in any way possible.
Sawyer’s makeover will begin this winter and will be completed summer 2012. |

Larry Siracusano

With 21 years in the car business, Larry Siracusano, has proven himself as a successful owner in our area. Since high school, Larry has made himself a known as an honest, hard working “go-getter” dabbling in everything from painting, renovation and ended in his current position as President of Sawyer Chevrolet in 1991. He has worked very hard to make Sawyer, one of the most well known dealerships in the area.
Though the car industry is a time consuming business, that doesn’t stop Larry Siracusano from putting time aside to help his neighboring community. With frequent donations to local organizations, fund raising, food drives and special giveaways, Larry certainly gives back to his community. This may seem like a lot of pressure and hard work but at the end of the day his main priority is his daughter, Stephanie. |

Mike Riordon

Mike Riordon has been in the automotive business for over 20 years, 18 in which have been spent here at Sawyer Chevrolet. Born and raised in the area, Mike grew up loving sports but became particularly attached to Golf and Sking. He continues to be an avid skier and at any free moment enjoys swinging a club at some local courses.
Being a family man is #1 in Mike’s life. His most cherished moments are time spent with his wife, Michaele , his son, Nate, and his daughter Avery. |
